Last Thursday, the annual Read Aloud Day took place and we were enthusiastically involved. Our publishing house founder Wolfgang Ritzberger read from our book "Franziska - Korea's First First Lady" and both online and on-site interested people were enthralled by Franziska's fascinating life as Korea's first First Lady.
Franziska Donner, born in Austria, was the wife of Syngman Rhee, the first president of South Korea. As an Austrian, she played an important role in the country's diplomatic life and championed charity and education. In our book, you can learn more about her life and accomplishments.
The reading by Wolfgang Ritzberger took place on site in our publishing building and spectators were able to follow the reading and get carried away by the fascinating story of Franziska Donner. The reading was also streamed live on our Facebook page, so that those interested could also participate from home.
We are very grateful for the positive response to our reading and are delighted about the interest in Franziska Donner and her life as Korea's first First Lady. If you missed the reading or would like to relive it, you can watch or listen to it on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/writzberger.
